Coraline

I can't wait to see this film! It should be in cinemas in February 2009, written by Neil Gaiman and directed by Henry Selick. Actually it never clicked how big that is. Being an animation geek I knew it was going to be a brilliant film as Selick is directing it (The Nightmare Before Christmas...!). But I didn't realise it was going to be a super duper film! It wasn't until I was on the blog (or journal as he calls it) of the author of a book I really really like that it became clear. Neil Gaiman wrote The day I swapped my dad for two goldfish. I knew I had heard the name before, but didn't take much notice.
And on top of that, my friend Tom informed me earlier today, that Gaiman will be at his wedding early next year. I too will be at Toms wedding! (I only found this out too day as well, it's been a very informative day!) I probably won't speak to Gaiman as I am Norwegian and we don't speak to strangers. We should even acknowledge their presence, I'm not very good at that part. Anyway, I am very exited to next year be in close proximity to some one whom I admire and has been a big part of creating my soon to be favorite film!
