From the reference and blocking bellow this is the animation I ended up with. I still have to make changes next week to show I can incorporate feedback in to my shot next week.

A part from animating I went to a jocularly concert yesterday and it was brilliant. They played silent films from the 1920s making a soundtrack and dialogs to go with it. It was very cleverly done. Some of the clips used trick photography, which I might use in an upcoming project.

We were working with anticipation, squash and stretch this week at Animation Mentor. I only used it ever so slightly for this assignment and I think it looks OK. I am learning how to animate with the graph editor and I am finding it a bit tough to get my head around. But I'm getting there.

Plus Stu was devastated.

OK, so I have started this blog to keep track of my process over the next eighteen months. I have enrolled on the Animation Mentor program, which is a course that focuses on character animation. I'm super excited and will upload tests and ideas while exploring further in to the world of animation. The course doesn't start until late September, warming up to it I might write some random post with thought and so on.
